10 Minutes In The Forest was an immersive, interactive, intense experience that allowed you, the audience, to be the protagonist in fairy tale. This immersive theater piece was also a playable game and art installation. The piece was for individual audience members or paired companions who interacted directly with actors and dancers portraying Baba Yaga and the Firebird. 10 Minutes In The Forest was produced by Casework Productions. The show featured music by composer David Ibbett and performances by Lauren Bond, Katrina Hamilton, Sarah McKinley, Emily Rychlick, and Hosanna Tolman. The costumes were designed and made by Lauren Bond and videography was done by Caitlin Obom. 10 Minutes In The Forest was based off of a 2011 Production at the Barbican Centre, London |
10 Minutes In The Forest was chosen as a "Project We Love" by Kickstarter staff and met our stretch goal: working with Cherry Street Films to create a 360° video! The day of filming was 36 hours after technical difficulties (literally starting to tear bolts out of the theater walls) required us to scrap our original set and rebuild from a new concept. This meant that the set was not completely finished, but still 360° video! (Fair warning: this gets pretty loud! Use with Google cardboard or scrolling around on the screen.)
